Nissan name first used in 1930sIn 1928, Yoshisuke Aikawa founded the holding company Nihon Sangyo (日本産業 Asia Industries or Nihon Market sectors). The name 'Nissan' originated over the 1930s as an abbreviation[14] applied to the Tokyo stock current market for Nihon Sangyo. Nissan Powerplant founded in 1934In 1934, Aikawa separated the extended automobile parts division of Tobata Casting and incorporated it to be a new subsidiary, which he named Nissan Electric motor Co., Ltd.
